The A merican dream was always about getting your own slice of freedom and the opportunity to hit it big if you played your cards right. The whole idea is that the USA is a land of opportunity. That’s basically a pyramid scheme at the expense of natural resources, indigenous peoples, or foreign nations but I’ve always believed that this is basically how society works so if you don’t like it, you’ll need a time machine to go back and redo evolution.
